Refugee Outreach

Our Refugee Outreach takes place primarily on two islands in Greece where there are camps housing newly arrived refugees.

Greek Island, Lesvos — Peace House

Peace House is a ministry center on the island of Lesvos, a few minutes walk from one of the largest refugee camps in Greece; this camp has a large Afghan population. The center we operate is open six days a week and focuses on evangelism and discipleship, while providing a safe gathering place and times dedicated for women, men, and families.

Greek Island, Samos — Hope House

Hope House is the refugee ministry center on the island of Samos with whom we partner. They are currently serving hundreds of refugees weekly through various programs with meals, evangelism, discipleship, various activities, teaching, etc.

We are not allowed to teach in the refugee camp, so we do ministry however and wherever we can. In this picture, one of our team members preaches in a storage container. We also use ministry centers and even open fields for ministry and teaching.
