We work to strengthen the church among Afghans in the following four key areas.

Who We Are

We are a group of people who have a heart for the kingdom of God and the Afghan people. We have come together as a team to bring the good news to the Afghan people around the world and to strengthen the church among Afghans.

The Afghan Church:

God is at work in unprecedented ways throughout the Afghan diaspora on every continent. As a result, over the last 10 years an identifiable church among Afghans has come into existence. This growing church can be found in many shapes ranging from online meetings to Dari speaking fellowships in host countries. The common denominator for them is the emergence of passionate, first-generation Christian leaders who are called to make most of this unique opportunity to reach other Afghans with the gospel. This ministry is very dynamic and constantly changing, which makes it demanding, partly because there are not yet sufficient support systems in place. Additionally, the refugee background of the believers contributes to the challenge of inadequate resources as the majority of them are not yet fully established in the contexts where they live and serve.

You may notice blurred faces and a lacking of identifiable pictures on our website. Many of our team hope to someday return to Afghanistan for Kingdom purposes and cannot have online materials showing them as a part of a missions organization.

Refugee Outreach

Our Refugee Outreach takes place primarily on two islands in Greece where there are camps housing newly arrived refugees.

Greek Island, Lesvos — Peace House

Peace House is a ministry center on the island of Lesvos, a few minutes walk from one of the largest refugee camps in Greece; this camp has a large Afghan population. The center we operate is open six days a week and focuses on evangelism and discipleship, while providing a safe gathering place and times dedicated for women, men, and families.

Greek Island, Samos — Hope House

Hope House is the refugee ministry center on the island of Samos with whom we partner. They are currently serving hundreds of refugees weekly through various programs with meals, evangelism, discipleship, various activities, teaching, etc.

We are not allowed to teach in the refugee camp, so we do ministry however and wherever we can. In this picture, one of our team members preaches in a storage container. We also use ministry centers and even open fields for ministry and teaching.

Spiritual Formation

It has been said that spiritual formation is the process of transformation of the inmost aspect of a human being, the heart. The refugee population we work with has often suffered many traumas. To address this need we provide Spiritual Formation programs where leaders are empowered and equipped to deliver basic levels of emotional care to the masses who have suffered from the debilitating effects of trauma. The three broad program modules are Counseling First Aid, Trauma Care, and Your Identity. Training is accomplished through multiple delivery methods including active listening, conversational tactics, engaging activities, and art therapy. All modules are based in biblical principles of our identity in Christ and life restoration

Proverbs 4:23 Watch over your heart with all diligence, for from it flow the springs of life.

Missions Training School

This school envisions graduates as empowered ambassadors of Christ effectively serving among Afghans in their current country, in Europe, and in other parts of the world. We have designed a unique learning approach and curriculum to equip disciple-makers and help them grow in their spiritual formation, ministry skills, and leadership. This is accomplished through a 9 module, 3-year hybrid training program.

The first cohort from Greece was completed in Summer 2024. Cohorts 2 and 3 began in the Fall of 2024 in Northern and Central Europe with an initial enrollment of 35 students.

Missions Support

This ministry is focused on supporting Afghan Missionaries and their families in any way possible, based on their needs and our capacity to help. This includes providing member care, financial assistance, mentoring, and coaching. These team members are primarily Afghan and are spread among 5 European countries. We share this journey with a passion for unity and meaningful connections as we pursue the strengthening of the church among Afghans.
